The rumors are true about recent production M&P triggers.

I picked up an M&P9 FS today and the trigger is different and better than previous iterations. The spent casing envelope is dated 3/9/12. There is very little pre travel before the break and as your pressing thru the break it is quite smooth and noticeably lighter than older M&P’s that i have tried.

The reset is not as forceful or tactile as a Glock, but its short and much more distinct than in the past. I am happy with the trigger as is and i wont be needing to put in an Apex upgrade. Strangely, i recently dry fired a 5’’ CORE pro series and it still had the indistinct reset.

Sweet!

I’ve got to check one of the the new one’s out. My older mp has improved some, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to swapping out the trigger.
