This, in many ways, is the ultimate privilege.
We live in such a safe, comfortable civilization, that there are people among us, literate, educated ones at that, who are able to seek out disability.
No one, I repeat, no one does this in societies where you need to work to eek out an existence for yourself and your loved ones. Yet here, life is so good, that people can indulge their fantasies and actually pursue disability, rather than avoid it and deal with it.
I think this irony is lost on these fools. They will continue to harp about straight white male privilege and inequality, while collecting either their welfare checks, or $200,000 salary at some university.
