Movie; Quigley Down Under

Song; ShineDown .45

Reading; M4C

Movie: The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)

Song: Not really a “song” but probably O Fortuna.

Reading: I tend to read to learn, not to amuse. Though I did find “What If” by Robert Cowley entertaining.

  1. Song: Amazing Grace played on the bag pipes. Get chills every time I hear it.(close 2nd anything by the Stones minus Miss You of course)
  2. Movie: Nobody’s Fool
  3. Book: Ava’s Man by Rick Bragg

Song: Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. After a 60+hr week, I can plop down on the couch with an Irish Red Beer and blast this song, instantly being soothed. A second would be Taylor by my man Jack Johnson.

Movie: This always changes for me, but right now I have a special spot for L.A. Confidential.

Book: 1984 by George Orwell. This book opened my eyes, and everytime I read it I discover something new.

Movie: The Royal Tenenbaums.

Song: ‘‘Antichrist Superstar’’ by Marilyn Manson

Book: ‘‘Survivor’’ by Chuck Palinhuik

Song: Bach’s Partita No. 3 in E, BWV 1006 - Prelude… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KYRdRnnBYw
Movie: JAWS
Book: 1984

I’ve seen them at Scarborough Fair a few times…great stuff.

No way I could narrow my top picks down. . .

Depends on the day, depends on the mood.

Movie : Aliens

Song : Sweet Child Of Mine

Book : Point of impact

S.M.

Movie: Sherlock Holmes (I also really liked Restrepo and Fight Club, kind of a tie…almost have to narrow it down by type)

Song: Remedy by Seether (current favorite, but I Stand Alone by Godsmack is number 1 on my Top 25 playlist on my iPod)

Book: Hunt for Bin Laden by Robin Moore (I don’t read too many books, but I’ve read this one a few times)

Movie: The Royal Tenenbaums.

Song: ‘‘Antichrist Superstar’’ by Marilyn Manson

That was a pretty good movie. One of those ones I never would’ve watched if my girlfriend at the time didn’t force me to, but I actually really enjoyed. Believe it or not, Fight Club was one of the very same.

I liked 1996 on that album better. :dance3: I really like Mobscene, its more commercial than their other stuff. The remakes of Tainted Love and Personal Jesus are pretty good too.

Movie: Miller’s Crossing, although The Outlaw Josey Wales & A River runs Through it are right there with it.

Song: Acoustic Alchemy - “The Alchemist” http://youtu.be/QP7swSAo3Ok Their music always takes me back to golden days, and if I’d found a Youtube of “Drake’s Drum,” I’d of put THAT here.

Book: Most of my reading is academic, but a guilty pleasure has LONG been Robert B. Parker’s “Spenser” novels. I can read 'em in a few hours, but once I START, I won’t put it DOWN 'til I’m done!
