The Magnum That Is Always On Hand

The 3inch Mod 13 all you need in a pinch.

Once you get your head around the things a revolver can do this is the revolver the others would like to be.

I took this one in from a guy that knows the score and it was a real joy to help him.

He wanted to get the hole treatment so I did the it for him all the gun work and a holster.

The real deal on the 3inch mod 13 is that it dose all the things you could ask of a fighting handgun for concealment.

It is my hope that this customer will have this if he needs it and that it serves him well.

Let me know what you think?

I have this completely irrational desire to find a used Model 10 or Model 13 with a 3-inch tube, and have someone like you work your magic on it. I think it would be a very handy teaching gun as well.

As always, thanks for the pics, Joe. You always put fiendish thoughts in my head.

You are welcome
By the way I teach a revolver only class and the gun I teach with is a 3inch 65 one great hard use gun.

I used to have a stainless 4-inch Model 65 as a teaching gun. Like a fool, I sold it. :frowning:

It was awesome with some .38 wadcutters sitting on top of 3.2 grains of Bullseye. Barely any recoil, and a really accurate load for that pistol. The soft Hogue grips on it made it very easy for the new shooter as well.

I’ll bet your revolver class is a ton of fun! I’d love to do a “Fossil Firearms” class over a weekend - 12-gauge pump guns and K-frame revolvers. Then have some BBQ and Buffalo Trace after the guns are put away.

Mmmmmmm… more evil thoughts…

Very nice finish. Looks great.

Joe, if you do not mind me asking, who makes that holster?

I Have plans on a lever Gun Revolver class this year.
The holster is a custom you can get direct from me at the shop.

Great! Thanks for the info on the holster, I’ll go hit your site.

At this point you will need to email me and we will work it out.
Thanks

Mr. Smith - live near your shop and would be interested in lever gun/revolver class. How could I get info on when class would be held and cost?

Thanks.

Thank you for sharing! So much WIN in this thread.

Well done Joe. Always had a weakness for the three inch 13s.

Thanks Joe R and to you all.
If you need to get to me just email me and we can get started.

I hope to see your project soon.

This looks fantastic. Oddly enough, I have my eye on a 13 right now. Debating between a 2.5 inch nickle 19 and a 3" blued 13. I think you have helped me make up my mind.

Great work.

The 3inch 13 is the revolver that the most of the other call Sir.

The particular 13 that I’ve had my eye on is going to be called “Mine” here shortly!

True statement, and once again, outstanding work on a real fighting wheelie.

I’ve been looking for one. I’ve had a 3" 65 and 66, but I really want a 13
