I have this completely irrational desire to find a used Model 10 or Model 13 with a 3-inch tube, and have someone like you work your magic on it. I think it would be a very handy teaching gun as well.
As always, thanks for the pics, Joe. You always put fiendish thoughts in my head.
I used to have a stainless 4-inch Model 65 as a teaching gun. Like a fool, I sold it.
It was awesome with some .38 wadcutters sitting on top of 3.2 grains of Bullseye. Barely any recoil, and a really accurate load for that pistol. The soft Hogue grips on it made it very easy for the new shooter as well.
I’ll bet your revolver class is a ton of fun! I’d love to do a “Fossil Firearms” class over a weekend - 12-gauge pump guns and K-frame revolvers. Then have some BBQ and Buffalo Trace after the guns are put away.
superior work as usual.
love the 13, my wifes bedroom gun
will never sell got it form on old retired f.b.i. agent next door neightbor. gave it to m in 1985 when he moved to assisted liveing. i went there every week. slipped him 1/2 pints of scotch, more than likely.
i also just found a 3" j-frame , model 60-.357. adjustable factories. i have been wanting 1 of these, a camping gun, back packing gun. am going to shoot it some. been looking for 5-6 yrs only. send it to u. want to keep hammer. want some other stuff done to it. saw t.d.l.'s .44mag carbine u did for him. before, after in marrietta, in idaho, over the door, also. f-----g awsome. have a .357 trapper i may send also.
This looks fantastic. Oddly enough, I have my eye on a 13 right now. Debating between a 2.5 inch nickle 19 and a 3" blued 13. I think you have helped me make up my mind.
