Top 5:
Dr. No
From Russia with Love
Goldfinger
Goldeneye
The World is Not Enough
Only Bonds I really liked were Connery and Brosnan. Not a fan of Craig. He is much better than Lazenby, Moore, and Dalton though.

Casino Royale is my favorite. Overall Connery is the best Bond, but each of the actors who played Bond have their share of cheesy/subpar endeavors, and Connery and Craig are no exceptions.
Grace Jones ruined that movie. Could have been great. Also liked the Duran Duran theme song.
A bit of trivia about the movie “For Your Eyes Only”. Sheena Easton sang the theme song IIRC, but Blondie actually wrote and auditioned their own version (a different song with the same title) that was not chosen. It showed up on the Blondie album “The Hunter.”
I didn’t mind Grace Jones at all and enjoyed the (insinuated) kinky sex she did to Bond. For the first time, he didn’t bang the gal, he got banged. That was my sense of it anyway. ![]()
My 5 favorites in no particular order:
Skyfall
Casino Royale
Goldfinger
Goldeneye
From Russia With Love
No one mentioned Die Another Day? ![]()
Did not like the end of course ![]()
But was a good bond flick and has its own cool little things that make it unique
The Living Daylights was the first Bond movie I saw as a child, and still has a special place in my heart even though I will fully admit it was not the best.
I think Casino Royal, Dr. No, Gold Finger are probably my three favorite, although it’s hard to classify that because if I find any 007 movie on the TV-looketie-box I tend to watch it and enjoy it.
I like For Your Eyes Only and The Man with the Golden Gun a lot for the Moore movies.
Ugh.
:sarcastic:
That was horrible.
I thought Skyfall was excellent.
Goldfinger, Casino Royale. Skyfall was entertaining but I still like the old Connery films.
If you stream neflix, this is a good parody, oss 117.
The only Bond movie I saw in theaters.
Yeah…:suicide:
 Someone get me my geritol and walker.
Yeah…no shit.
I’d have to say it’s a toss-up between Goldfinger and Casino Royale (the Craig version).
That said, The World Is Not Enough was probably the funniest simply because they cast Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist.
Craig is the worst Bond ever. It’s not really his whole fault they changed Bond into Bourne and ruined it. Even says so in the LIFE 50 years of Bond.
The greatest over all Bond film I’d have to say was one of Sean’s earlier movies. If you could pick and choose parts to make a Bond film it would be great! Tomorrow Never Dies has the best Opening Scene of any modern Bond Film.
I vowed to never watch any of the “new” Bonds but I was beaten and forced to watch Skyfall. The Villian was good and I enjoined The Dark Lord being installed as M…now if we could get back to a good old Fashion Gentleman Spy it could stand out instead of blending in with the rest of the yawn see it 10 million times action movies.
Casino Royale
Skyfall
Live and Let Die
For Your Eyes Only
You Only Live Twice
Thunderball
In no particular order.
Ever read Ian Flemming’s books?
Craig IS Bond.
I’m of the opposite opinion on this.
Craig’s Bond is what saved the franchise as it had become dated and stagnant. Once they started making Bourne movies again (Richard Chamberlain did the original [The Bourne Identity](The Bourne Identity ) based on the novels) they had to raise the bar or go under. MGM was going bankrupt and they did not know if the franchise would survive. Craig proved to investors that the franchise was very much still alive and could make mega bucks. People were sick of the over the top villains, cheese ball gizmos, enter the Austin Power’s farce trilogy in 1997. Eon Productions guru Barbara Broccoli daughter of the late Albert R. Broccoli said that the 90’s was horrible for them.
There’s some pretty heavy implication within that film, that it was all in Bond’s head.
