The finer things in life

My two favorites:

Fine Kentucky Bourbon

and fine Cuban-seed smokes

Looks good but I’ll stick with my Becks.

There’s a few things we can do well here, and booze is definitely one of them.

I’m a Corona (hold the lime) and Marlboro Light kind of guy.

Coors Light and Snap-E-Tom

For me it just doesn’t get any better than Diet Coke and Copenhagen. It also doesn’t get much worse for those around me when I’m out of either.

When it’s not beer, it’s Glenlivet.

Wild Turkey and a nice box pressed La Unica for me.

I’m partial to Macallen scotch. Tasty.

Of course, this is awesome too: Molotov cocktail gift box.

Kisara, I’m a fan of good vodkas as well. A bit partial to grey goose for some reason.

I like Tequila and Bourbon :

Patron Anejo

Cabo Wabo Anejo is my 2nd favorite

and

Woodford Reserve Bourbon

Knob Creek is my 2nd favorite

And if just something lighter I like Guinness.

Woodford is a my preferred Bourbon. Am a cigar guy, but got spoiled working counter drug for years so I only smoke Cuban’s. The MC #2 Torpedo is one of my favorites.

I just can’t get into hard liquor. I’m a beer guy all the way. Modelo in cans for consuming mass quantities (with a squirt of lime juice from one of those green lime-shaped bottles) and various micro-brews etc. for slow enjoyment with a good stogie.

Everyone says beer ruins a good cigar, but I guess I’m too much of a redneck to notice.

You get any New Belgium brews down there? They’re located just north of here in Ft. Collins. Fat Tire ring a bell?

Even though I was born and raised in “bourbon country” I have come to prefer Irish whiskey and a small-batch Scottish gin called Hendrick’s. Such things border on heresy in Kentucky. I guess I’m a weirdo: I don’t like college basketball or horse-racing either.

I’m a beer snob, so I do my best to avoid mainstream mega-brewery American swill. Some micro-breweries I like (Bell’s for instance) but I prefer the “classic” beers of the UK. My favorite is Fuller’s ESB.

I quit smoking 10 years ago, and I was never much of a cigar lover even when I did smoke. Admittedly, I was probabaly never even in the same room as really top-notch cigar, so my experience was very limited.

Hey Nick,

New Belgium is good, but I really like O’Dell’s offerings. Their 90 Shilling and Easy Street Wheat are some of my favorites. I also really like Breckenridge’s Vanilla Porter and Oatmeal Stout. Big Sky’s Moose Drool and Scape Goat are great too.

Colorado is a great state for beer. I’m becoming a beer snob…

I like O’Dell’s MUCH better, too, but there isn’t a chance in hell he gets that stuff in Florida. Anyone care to work out some sort of micro brew exchange on here? If we could find a way to ship this stuff, I’d love to try some of the local stuff from across the country…

I had some beer a few weeks ago from a Company called Dogfish Head or something like that. They make a “90 minute” that turned out to be 9% alcohol and set me right on my ass. Now I know why it only comes in a 4 pack!

From now on I’ll buy the “60 minute” which is evidently a more traditional alcohol content.
