A near MEU(SOC) clone by Dave Sams:

An M45 clone by Dave Berryhill:

Colt M45A1:

That top one is tastefully done. Nice collection.

Damn. Nice blasters. I am jealous.

I have a MEU(SOC)-ish Custom Carry. Everything is correct except my Ed Brown thumb safety is single-side. I seem to have lost the pics so here’s a real one…

The Dave Sams clone is missing the Clark beavertail grip safety and Kings ambi-thumb safety. Dave built the pistol after those parts were discontinued.

I have always admired Dave Berryhill’s work a great deal. I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for the MEU(SOC) pistols.

Very cool.

Just awesome Blasters…congrats!!!

I’ll be joining you soon w/ the top one as I’m up on Mr Sam’s list end of this summer

That sams build looks as good as it gets

They went to Ed Brown parts after those were discontinued.

They also used Springfield Professionals and had some full guns built by Springfield. So technically a Wilson Combat grip safety is also correct.

The Sams clone is very correct, it just looks like an older slide with the PWS sights and no front cocking serrations, with newer safeties on the frame. Best of both IMO.

Very nice! If you have shot them both, how do they compare?

That is a gorgeous collection! Now all you need is a det-1 kimber and you’re complete! A master guns I used to work for has two and he refuses to sell trade me one. One day…

Very beautiful pistols. I’ve always wanted to acquire an MEU clone.
