The DVD training tapes

Training Training and Tactics
1

I just wanted to comment on how much I enjoy/value the MAGPUL training video’s. I practice those training methods daily , with my g-36. This past weekend I was out in the back country, running some dry fire drills, Working on shooting under my patrol rig.

I heard or sensed something odd, but cound not detect anything out of place. Went back to mag change drills and them back down to the ground. I heard it again.

I looked up and sure as shit there was a man and a lady sitting on horses about 30 yards away watching me. The man was smiling and said" I see your a fan of the MAGPUL DVD’s aswell.

I was speechless, embarrassed, and muttered something macho stupid to him. The lady after a bit said something like O Im used to it my husband is always doing this shit to." While making funny karate hand movements".

I never learned who they were, he did have a nice 1911 on, and was quite fit for a regular dog.

Anyway if it wasn’t for these MAGPUL DVD’s I wouldn’t get much up to date tactical carbine training. I’d love to attend one of their trainings, not in the cards till the kids are out of college.

Gents if you haven’t got the tapes you should consider purchasing them they are in my humble oppinion very very good for training on your own.

Respectfully,
Dirk Williams

I have also found them invaluable.

I like to take notes on them and take my notes to the range. I try and write down things Mr. Costa and Mr. Haley say, that will prepare me for a fight.

Range trips are rarely “plinking” time for me anymore. I try to drill in training, in the slowest and surest way possible. If I am unsure if my drills are perfect, I STOP them until I can get clarification.

Nothing worse than training wrong and having to fix your shit later.
