Actually they want YOU to have a FFL in order to offer your private property for sale. Never mind that most private sellers wouldn’t qualify for an FFL anyway. The important thing is they want dramatically fewer people who are able to sell guns.
This is Part II of their 50 year plan. Under Clinton they got rid of most of the kitchen table FFLs and put in place road blocks that prevent most people from getting a FFL. Now they are requiring anyone who wants to sell a gun, regardless of how many, how often or whatever to have a FFL, because they know you probably can’t get one.
This is why the 1968 GCA must be trashed, all of it. Everything you are seeing now, everything you have ever seen happen, is only possible because of the tools they have within the 1968 GCA. The FFL system is no longer about trying to prevent guns from getting into the wrong hands, they are now trying to use it to prevent people from selling their private property and by extension from buying firearms without undue infringement.

Someone needs to dredge up that study - the one they THEY themselves had conducted (IIRC,it was either FBI or such that carried it out) -where they spent, what was it, like a year, trying to buy guns illegally off various peer-to-peer online marketplaces, forums, etc, and were denied EVERY time the seller found out there was something hinky going on?
The net result was I think they managed to get one or two guns, one of which they had to resort to the dark web to get.
