I hate to say it, but at this point I doubt it is saleable. Honestly where is the value.
Sadly M4C is kind of like the husk of an old muscle car. Sure, it was great once but now it’s wrecked, stripped out, and sitting on blocks in the yard. That she’ll ain’t worth much.
I’d love to see this site brought back to life, but I don’t have any idea how to make that happen.

Telegram and Signal are both (relatively) secure chat apps that allow for group discussions and group chats. It’s not as complete as the old vBulletin forum type display, but it’s mobile friendly.

AOL bulletin boards and chat rooms of the 1990s worked well enough compared to this sophisticated ghost town.
Ironic that the once-proud ghost town I cite as the future of this forum started there as the Prodigy Shooting Sports board, with guys like Mas Ayoob, Frank James and Dean Speir…

Chat apps like Signal & Telegram are great for messaging, but terrible for orderly, involved discussion of technical subjects, the way you have threads on a forum.
It’s a poor substitute for that specific application.

I offered to buy it like a year ago or whenever that was, but at this point it is unlikely that any costs of acquisition and operation would be recouped in a timely manner. I don’t think users can pay on this format to sponsor (nor would they), and I doubt advertisers would bother, given the traffic.
They’re looking at a loss.
