The way the FDA law reads is that once a PD, .Gov agency or .mil group take possession of an IR laser, they can then do with it as they want.
In this instance, a .Gov agency is doing some trading for other gear they need and that is how they have become available to the market.

Cohiba - Did the DBAL-A2 cause the need to go with a LaRue 1.93 mount instead of the standard 1.5 mount with your S&B Short Dot? I have one of these on order (the DBAL-A2) so I need to know if I should order the other LaRue mount also.

Go with the 1.93 with your DBAL, it’s actually a TAD bit higher than the PEQ. Hope this helps.

If I got my hands on one of those then Id have a reason to get NVG’s
I have one of these, but I need two tape switches. Can someone please point me in the right direction? LDI will not sell me another couple as I am not a LEO agency. Apparatly, even the switches are restricted!!! I have everything else, just need two tape switches for these!!! Google is useless for this!!
