The colonization of 21st century America....

When the American colonies won their freedom, it was feared we had traded George III for George I. History proved that assertion wrong – then. We are in the process of doing precisely that now, of recolonializing America. We are becoming strangers in our own land.

The words, “black outrage” fall woefully short of adequate…

I stopped reading at, “And it makes so much of the liberal agenda understandable: abortion, contraception, feminism, gay marriage, euthanasia, managed health care with death panels.”

My tinfoil hat isn’t that big.

I do not give the author much credibility on this subject as we have been re-colonized by the British Crown! Seems more of a “left-right paradigm” hit piece that won’t get us any closer to the truth - much less a potential solution. But that’s me.

Check out the Treaty of Verona for a more recent example or General Cornwalis’ speech to Washington to the heads of the power behind any number of internationalist organizations.

So he does “get it” that we are being “dragged down” I don’t get the impression he knows the reasons behind it. Or if he does he is holding his cards close to his chest.

“One cannot awaken a man who pretends to be asleep.”

Ironic to see the American Thinker dismissed as “tin foil.”

The colonization metaphor is a bit stretched, and I have never really bought D’Souza’s argument. But there’s no question of the effort to “fundamentally transform” the US into something very different from what the founding fathers intended. This is not a partisan issue nor divided among the traditional polarities of right and left. There’s a coalition of progressives, socialists, Marxists, Republicans, Democrats, and others behind the transformation. It’s not an intricate conspiracy of the tinfoil variety, but nevertheless there are common elements in the transformation and they nearly always involve loss of liberty, increasing government control, and hostility to the Constitution and to traditional religious and family values.

That’s the game, anything detailing, or pertaining to truth, is immediately dismissed as “tin foil capped” lunacy, then those very same folks, will turn around and in perfect dead pan, expound voluminously on Art Bell, bigfoot, and chem trails in the atmosphere…

They can be led to water, but we cannot drink for them…

I think you’re confused.

My tinfoil covers the (very real, unless you have not been paying attention to the news… ever) government and corporate conspiracies to deny our god-given rights.

If I read an article that was about something else or even the exact same thing and read, “And it makes so much of the conservative agenda understandable: abortion, eugenics, racism, traditional marriage, gun control, corporate cronyism.” I would stop reading it, too.

The author is standing on the edge of a body of water and spying an island across it and proclaiming that it must be thus, for it is a desert, while there are trees and grass and all manner of green things here… while ignoring the fact that the body of water is a lake and the “island” is simply the other side of the lake. Why should I listen to such a person?

So you’re saying then there’s no agenda, be it political or otherwise, to give amnesty and leave our border open at the discretion of the head of DHS?

Hardly.

But I don’t believe for an instant that liberals are stupid enough to really believe that a bunch of conservative Catholics voting in this country are going to let them have their way on abortion, contraception, feminism, gay marriage, &c.

Actually, given that these conservative Catholics have been endlessly antagonized by the right, they probably will vote for leftists… But only because the right has done an excellent job of rigging their own ship to sink in the event that illegals do get amnesty.

I’m sorry, but didn’t you say that you “didn’t read the posted link,” and then followed up with a reference to one of the few reputable media sources available, as tin foil capped?

Confusion would be the above quoted word dance…

I read it until the offending, partisan paragraph opener.

Uncertain on the death panels, but the rest looks pretty accurate.

Funny how Protestants want freedom of Religion but will criticize Catholics and dare we say Muslims as well for practicing theirs. As the only Catholic when I go back home I get relatives who try and make me “see the light”.

I do understand what the author is trying to say and agree to a point but the author needs to be more objective.

Please name for me, all the Catholics involved in the;

  • first WTC bombing in 1993
  • Khobar Towers USAF barracks bombing in 1995
  • American Embassy bombings in Africa in 1998
  • U.S.S. Cole attack in 2000
  • Attacks on America on 9/11/2001

You will NOT find a more confessional Lutheran on this board, yet I have no problem with Catholics in America. Funny thing is, I can’t seem to find a website like this, detailing Catholic atrocities IN America, or ON Americans…

I support freedom of religion and this includes Islam, Christian Identity, the Black Israelites and a host of other hate filled “beliefs.” They can believe anything they want including truly silly things like Scientology and Mormonism.

But I also know that some religions, like certain other groups, are more likely to engage in acts of violence than other religions and groups and we should watch them with the same critical eye that the SPLC watches meetings of the Aryan Nations.

I don’t recall Catholics or Protestants running planes into buildings or video taping the chopping off of heads recently.

Didn’t see Jews or Sikhs lighting their underwear on fire on a plane or buying pressure cookers.
