I saw George Strait in the mid 80s when he was just starting out. He opened for the other George, George Jones, in one show. Strait was a class act then, and he is one of the very few real country musician. Best wishes to his retirement.

FWIW, he’s only retired from touring. Thankfully, he said he will still be recording music. For now at least…
I wish I could be as good at anything as he is at his talent.
