Not sure where to post this one so started a new thread. Poll suggests voters don’t like their choices on either side, yet it looks strongly like we will end up with the orange guy vs Brandon, etc again. Those numbers would suggest it’s going to be as much a vote against X (“anyone but Trump/Brandon”) vote then a vote for the candidate, yet again. If that’s what we end up with for choices, the “The government you elect is the government you deserve.” ― Thomas Jefferson comes to mind. If we end up with Brandon again, it will not be due to any love for him, it will be because he’s not Trump. I suspect more will vote for Trump because they like him, but a large portion will do so because he’s not Brandon. Enough to win? I don’t think so:
However, poll suggests if people voted right now, DJT would win, Hmmm…
Completely unscientific, non-statistical, zero methodology: I have been asking around, just out of curiosity, asking republicans: if Trump is not the nominee, are you going to vote for who is? About half are saying if the nominee is not Trump they just are not voting. My follow up question is, are they OK with another four years of Biden? I have gotten some interesting answers.
The question they need to ask on both sides is just that: if your guy is not the nominee, are you going to vote?
Eh… the primaries are still a long ways off.
If I had told you a few months ago that support for DeSantis was as weak as it has turned out to be, who would have believed?
I’m less convinced that Biden will be the democrat nominee as others seem to be.
If Biden and Trump are the nominees… voters will have a choice between a totally corrupt administration and a deep state supporting same, or the guy standing up to it. Life is full of choices,.
Absent Russia going nuclear (which might be closer than some would want to believe) due to the misguided proxy war with Russia, my family will continue to do well regardless of who is in the Oval Office. Others… maybe not so much.
Choose wisely.
Biden will die in Office, he wont make it to the next election.
Ehh, I’d bet a lot of them don’t really care if Biden gets another 4 years? They probably either think it will hasten the Boog, or they’re enjoying watching the left reap what they’ve sown? Unfortunately, I’m getting close to retirement. I can’t afford another 4 years of leftist economic drudgery. That’s why I’m Team ABB.
Someone went over the odds today. Based on current data, there’s a 40% chance Chuckles would ascend to the Oval Office if Biden wins again. Pretty sobering huh. ![]()
That’s really what the OP is about, the ABB vs the ABT vote and how it’s likley to be dominant when it comes to voting. Per other threads, I think the ABT vote will dominate ultimately.
How about neither xiden nor Trump. I like Trump, voted for him, but at 77 he is too old. No one over 68-70yo should be in any position of responsibility, whether in .gov or any profession.
Democrats vote in lock-step. Republicans not so much.
At this point politics and elections are as corrupt as drug cartels. Why would a decent person involve themselves with either of them?
Trump is turning the gop in the big tent party!
No, I’m saying if under the pressure of impeachment, if Hunter looks like he’s going to go to jail, Joe Biden will die.
One way or the other.
Works for me!
