I love it when two people caught saying something stupid set the example as to what society must really be as a whole. Still I have to say that while I don’t know what planet this Sterling came from, particularly as the owner of a basketball team his comments just plain sucked. They sucked so bad he somehow just made Bundy look good.
The guy’s made a ton of money of a NBA basketball team. And he tells this gal, “Don’t bring black people to the games.” You can’t make this stuff up.
I get it. He’s an rich, old white dude with a hot young girlfriend and he doesn’t like his buddies at the golf club making a lot of “Mandingo” jokes at his expense. But what a maroon.
In the minds of the far left Marxist Progressives, did we ever stop being racists? This is a topic of discussion in our present society where we lose even before we can open our mouths. The sad thing is our current President, his crew and close supporters are the biggest race hustlers to ever achieve this level of office in modern times. Whether they actually believe we are racists or not, or just know it’s an excellent weapon to destroy us politically remains to be seen. I suspect many know the truth but using this weapon constantly puts us on the defensive. I just refuse to enter into a discussion with the leftist Marxists on the subject. That, of course, makes me an instant racist.
Actually he basically told her he doesn’t care if she’s screwing them or whatever, just don’t rub it in his face by bringing them to games. Personally I’d just ditch the gold digger and find somebody who actually cares about me.
As for the bigger picture, the massive double standard continues to amaze me. White people are told they should be fined for making racist comments, they lose their cookings shows and the like but organizations such as the NAACP (which are specifically racist) are no problem. The things Al Sharpton says in response are no less racist or offensive.
Racism exists and it is likely your rich employer is racist. And if the white guy who owns your team makes racist comments by all means use it as a basis to cancel your multi million dollar contract and go find a team owned by somebody less screwed up.And if you are a white guy working for a black employer and you make millions of dollars and he makes racist comments you have the same options.
It seems like everything is “racist” as of late. People are going to believe whatever they want to, that doesn’t mean that I have to. The word “racist” is kind of like communism or terrorism. This is a word used to get a reaction from people. Luckily, I believe that it comes with an expiration date and eventually will be played out by the left. I can’t wait for the day.
Something doesn’t add up with that story and the Media drama Queens are running rampant with it for obvious reasons. This feels too much like the same old burn the witch mentality we’ve seen so many times over.
The girlfriend is black. If he harbors such hatred for blacks why oh why is his girlfriend black?
You hear one side of the conversation in the clips I’ve listened to, context is important.
He never says he hates black’s which is how it is being portrayed. (See point 2 above)
I’m not defending the guy, it just seems to me that from what I’ve heard not all is being presented nor does it appear to be presented in context.

His past statements and actions make me question his intelligence. They also lead me to wonder why he lasted as long as he did as an NBA owner.

I guess no-one was paying much attention before as he has a long and famous career as a bigot. I was surprised his obnoxious level of bigotry was tolerated as long as it was…Some of the statements are astounding.
It doesn’t matter. The media will spin it, get some “expert” to say that it doesn’t matter that he’s a Democrat, he was speaking conservative ideas and views, and this is just further proof that we need to squash conservatism in this country…and the liberals will buy it.
A Democrat could behead a black guy in the head in the middle of Times Square, yell “white power! Heil Hitler!” and the media will still blame the Tea Party and the Bush Administration.
Reportedly, the relationship with the young gal is history and the guy’s wife is suing her for the million bucks or so of bling the old guy gave her. And she ain’t happy. No coincidence the taped conversation hits the tabloids now, with the Clippers in the playoffs and all.
The owner’s a piece of work and this is no surprise to anyone that’s followed his past exploits. It’s just the story of the day for everyone to get all exercised about. Frankly, my ass is tired of all the race card journalism.

What I think is the funny part is that Bundy was actually lamenting how the modern welfare state is as dehumanizing as slavery and Sterling is progressive enough to love black men by proxy, but all the MSM picks up on is the use of negro and points out the fact that most pro-sport crowds look like KKK gatherings.
I wonder if Sterling is going to come out with special black-only sections of seating at games…
On the race issue, what I really want to hear is someone ask BHO to expand on his comments about the negative effects of race on him. All I’ve heard from him is that he was followed by mall security when he was teenager. Considering that he was a low-level drug dealer, that doesn’t sound like a stretch. Any real old-timey racism?
Probably not but it makes what difference again now? Did anyone redeem Romney because he wasn’t aware he was being recorded for nefarious reasons?
You want to bitch and moan about minorities having a less than positive sway in politics in the 21st century have at it because I’d agree for the most part. Want to complain about disproportionately high crime and entitlements going their way too, I’m in. But even with that reality I still would never go so far as to say that a black man or woman is unsuitable for association in general. That is inexcusably heinous.
Something tells me she was catering to the hip-hop gangster crowd or something and his comments casually and inarticulately reflected that scenario. That and they may have been younger and more masculine than that wrinkled old tool.
To me, his words make no difference in the world, and I find it mildly humorous that anyone cares in the first place. I care less what the man says in private, or public, and most of the time people are just looking for an excuse to be “outraged” about something trivial, and often taken out of context.
who cares if this guy is racist, his views have no ability to affect our lives. The racists in govt are the ones you have to be concerned about that can pass policies to affect million of people.

It seems that the LA Clippers’ owner, Donald Sterling, doesn’t want his half Black / half Mexican girlfriend to bring non-whites to his games. I suppose this means he will release all of his black players from their contracts and sign only white players. Better yet, with a name like Sterling, I assume that he will be true to his heritage and stick to players whose Jewish ancestry can be verified.
Now, it only took Obama 10 minutes to comment on the story from halfway across the globe. I mean…this shit is important…you wouldn’t want the President to ignore racism in an institution as noble as the NBA…
