gotm4 installed the 10.0 lite rail and shaved the FSB for me. Turned out quite nice I think. Can’t wait to get to the range/ranch:D

Didn’t you used to have a DD 9.5fsp on there? Thats what I have now and am considering getting a 10.0 as well. I’m finding the FSB is in the way of my light mounting and I end up with my thumb against a hot surface easily. Just wondering if you had similar issues, and if you’re pleased that this change fixed them?

Ah - that GotM4 guy…no kidding - great resource in NOVA area and beyond. All work done for me has been exceptionable, reasonable and delivered in a more than timely manner.
I did have the 9.5 FSP on there. FSB would get hot and rail space was limited for running anything at 12oclock. That’s why I changed it out. I had been running a SF G2 in a Vltor mount before going to the M3X and the M3X is much lighter (never weighed it before and haven’t weighed this set up, but it feels lighter). I’m happy with the way it ended up. Upper is a standard BCM 11.5" upper.
