Thanks for the advice

I said intrinsically accurate, not practically. Let’s please not argue about whether or not a free floated barrel is or isn’t more intrinsically accurate than a non FF, because it is. Get whatever you like, I couldn’t care less. You ask for opinions, get them, then defend why they’re not valid. Then why even ask? These “What should I buy” posts are growing a tad long in the tooth.

Not worth the time or energy with some people

I’m not sure what happened, but I think threads where info is deleted are a great way to see who is unhappy, or who is trolling or just nasty.

This is another example of why we need “like” and “dislike” buttons for posts. A poster who continually gives solid information is not the same as a poster who just likes to argue. A new person looking for help has no way of knowing who they are talking to, or if the info is valid.

Yes, we have special colors for SME and IPs, but I am hoping we can take it a step farther. Plenty of people here do not have “titles”, but are rock solid with their info and how they share.

I don’t know if we really need a like or dislike button as I don’t think it goes in depth enough, where as these long form posts tend to weed out the " WTF" information. I think if anything, we have a lot of brand “x” vs brand “y” but doesn’t go into the mindset of what the person is looking for. There is a lot of people on here with good info, but the validity is often tied to the person and how their using it. I do know that Markm doesn’t like or use LPVOs and his points on why are valid, it is a compromise, but I still own quite a few LPVOs because of said compromises make sense for the use application I am looking for, but I now also have the knowledge that my 1-10x Razor is great, but will never be amazing at 1x then a Red dot, or 10x like a MPVO. This knowledge broadens my horizons and tells me a lot more about LPVOs in general.

It’s no worries STICK, I’ll just PM you guys in the future as opposed to starting a thread.

I do greatly appreciate the information that has been posted.

I was literally asking for advice/information on a purchase that was to be used as a SD/HD rifle with a NF 1-8 on it. That’s it. I responded to an obviously pissed off member because I added some information on current rifles I have and their capability in accuracy and precision. That’s it.

I find it to be less appealing to have to argue with someone I don’t even know on the internet because they take a comment personally.

What is this thread about? Molon posted great info but with the OP on some sort of strange “bandwidth saving” tantrum, it becomes a giant waste of bandwidth in the end.

See, comments like this are why people don’t continue to participate. There’s no tantrum. I just chose to delete and move on.

My man, take step back. Deleting post after post after post isn’t constructive for this forum. Don’t be part of the problem…

It is SOP with this guy.

I’m sorry, but going back and deleting comments you made in a thread is bush league. If, in retrospect, you aren’t happy with what you said then maybe you shouldn’t have said it in the first place. It’s just bad form all the way around and, honestly, speaks to a lack of credibility, transparency and honesty.

My posts are still quoted. I didn’t say anything to anyone in any negative manner.

I did in fact say it isn’t worth getting in to arguments on the internet. I guess I’ll just remain disreputable.

I wouldn’t call it SOP. However I do delete things I’ve written. Not sure why that matters to you. But again, you guys continue to prove my point.

The delete police, your credibility and honesty called into question. Gonna need a hard bark around here.
