Just wanted to drop you a quick note of thanks for the excellent episodes of Tac TV. When so many shooting shows have become advertisements, Tac TV is taking us places most people don’t get to go, showing us things that many never get to see, and informing us with some of the best instructors around.
Really enjoyed the episode with special operations pistols with Ken Hackathorn and Dave Harrington, especially the sequence on the Glock pistols. And that Novak’s Hi-Power is a work of art.
Anticipating the next part of the Aimpoint episode, and wanted to get your opinion on the PRO vs. the Micro. I would think they are both pretty much bomb proof, and I guess I would be looking at the T1 to keep it comparable, since PRO has NV compatibility, even though I don’t run any NV gear. With a price difference of about $200, I was wondering what your arguments would be for a Micro to someone who is budget minded?
2MOA vs 4MOA for someone who is running urban carbine setup for LE work. 2MOA seems to be the popular choice, but the dot sure seems small to me at times.
What do you think about the QRP2 mount on the PRO? What other mounting options would you consider?
What mount for the Micro?
I run a Troy folding rear and a fixed FSB, and am curious if you recommend actual or lower 1/3rd co-witness of the irons?
