I looking into moving too Texas. Anyone know of any apartments for less than $500 a month with a garage. I found some in San Marcos area but no garage for my Harley.
Why do you need a garage for the Harley. Just get a ground level and park that baby in the living room. That’s what I did. Although be prepared to not get your deposit back if you forget to put a carpet liner in.
San Marcos is a college town. I wish I could help, but in my experience a $500/mo apartment is not somewhere I would want to live.

Maybe look for a house to rent with a couple of room mates to split the rent?
This was going to be my same advice. Find a duplex with a garage and split rent for 500-600 a month.

The downside is theres a couple old men here and I have to listen to their old men noise.

Another option is get a pad close to a mini storage.
the downside to an apartment, and especially a low rent apartment, is it will likely be in a less desirable area and you may come home to find your goodies gone
