Thanks Robb,
I find his remarks repugnant, and what has been done is done. There is no further sense in mutilating his corpse or continuing to drive wedges between groups- that is only playing into the hands of the socialists.
We are giving him an opportunity that perhaps should have been made prior (but for the fact there was no “need”) to get smart on what goes on in other areas.

He will see things that may be different then what he is used to, and that is the point.
Denny gave him an opportunity to write the article and print what he wrote.
Doubtful that many of the firemisson crowd will be satisfied with this, but our hope is that enough people will read this and understand that we can work together.

It will be challenging, but hey, that is part and parcel of what we do.

I am interested in seeing the results of your efforts, I hope it does show him that the AR platform is more than adequate for many different uses.

KL, thanks for posting this. Saw the obviously slanted version on
MSNBC earlier tonight.
Kudos to Pat for offering to educate him.
In regards to his apology on Nugent’s site, well, to me the telling
part was his reference to his realization that black rifles can be
used for ‘hunting’, which to ME says he still doesn’t get IT. Maybe
he will after the class, I don’t know I guess we will see.

I didn’t set this up- Denny did.
I’m just a dumb trigger puller that gets to shoot sometimes.

The shooting/ huting community stands to gain much from this, and we will make sure that we do our part.

Zumbo has the potential to be our most outspoken proponent, or to turn on us and be the spokesperson for “reasonable gun control” as if there was such a thing.

Being that Pat teaches fighting more so than shooting, this class could really blow Zumbo’s mind. I hope he can handle the thought of shooting at targets shaped ever-so-slightly like people.

Ultimately I think it will be the quality of the citizens to the left and right of Mr. Zumbo on the firing line that will win him over. He needs to see non-Mil/LE ordinary folks responsibly training to fight. Pat’s class probably a good place to find those.
