What did Christian Bale use? Rail? Optics? butt stock? I know it’s not showing yet but the trailer showed him using an m4 type… and c-more tactical for optics? how come nobody ever uses a c-more tactical?

It’s a basically stock HK 416 with the C-more sight. (IIRC).

For some reason Hollywood looooves the C-more. I see a lot of people using them in pistols for competition shooting, but other than that, not much.
Looked very much like a normal 416 with a C-more to me.

just to add to this thread why dont u guys throw out what your all time fav. movie gun is? One that comes to the top of my head is Sgt. Gary Gordon’s camo’d M1a in blackhawk down, or that awesome mp5-pdw that the hot chic in the new Max Payne movie uses, but i always drool on mp5 pdw’s, its perhaps my all time favorite weapon.
I’ve shot a buddies 38Super IPSC Open gun with a C-more. I don’t like it as much as a T-1, but I have only shot those on rifles. To me, the C-more needs your head right behind the sight, while Aimpoints have some more latitude??
Lord knows that I could shear that C-more reticle/glass holder on a corner or something.
Borebrush covered this on another site. The C-More is often used in the movies because it tends not to obscure the actors features as much as others RDS’.

The AIG Asymmetric Warrior ASW338LM they have for the show The Unit has an AAC TiTAN-QD sound suppressor but they don’t mention that. I also have better images for them.

went with the aimpoint. I figured in the long run the aimpoint was more resistant to dot shift on impact… sometimes. my gun gets bump.
FWIW I know of a C-MORE that has survived 6 Iraq deployments as the primary sight on a 10.5" M4 being used by an Army SF Assaulter doing Direct Action missions on an almost nightly basis. It was given to him by the company to test and he fell in love with it. I’ll admit that it may be the only of its kind, but that specific sight has been beat to hell and continues to work. Who would’ve thunk it?!?!
