Tate Defense on Ebay? Anybody have any experience with them?

Tate Defense on Ebay has Aimpoint Micro H-1 sights for sale for $430. That price is quite a bit lower than other places. Does anyone have experience with them? Any issues regarding authenticity of the Aimpoints? You know what they say about “too good to be true”…

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I have only bought Aimpoint products on eBay. Usually I buy from pchawaii28 and macknlou. They didn’t have any T-1’s in stock so I just purchased a T-1 from Tate Defense for the first time. I’ll report as soon as I get it in the mail.

If they are located in “Los Angeles, CA” like the ebay page says they are not listed as a dealer on Aimpoint’s website…

I just ordered an Acog from them off e-bay and it shipped fast and it is legit. They have some crazy # of 100% positive feedback on ebay also. I am sure they are good to go…, at least they were for me.

I just ordered and received an Aimpoint T-1 from them. It’s legit as far as I can tell. Shipping was fast. I’d recommend them.

They are not an authorized Aimpoint dealer and are most likely a front company for someone else. When Aimpoint catches them, they will be shut down.

They responded very quickly to a message I sent on Ebay about being a dealer. He said that he is a reseller. I have no problem with that. Just wanted to get some first-hand info from folks that have ordered from him. Thanks for the info fellas!

I watched a no reserve Tate Defense ebay auction for a NIB Elcan Spectre DR end at $1,375.00. I was outbid by $25.00. :mad:

That price has to be below master dealer cost?

I bought a 3X ACOG from them, fast shipment. Came in the Trijicon case, all documentation, scope cover, lens pen. Legit scope with serial number.

Would buy from them again. In fact I’m planning on getting a Elcan SpecterDR for my M1A and they still have the best prices.

BLUF: their H1s are legit.

I was pretty suspicious about it, but took the leap and ordered an H1.

Called Aimpoint yesterday after I got the site, and went through a couple of check associated with common “errors” associated with clones. It was all GTG, and I did compare with my T1 too.

With the Bing deal, it was $395 shipped. Not too shabby.

Re: the Bing deal- go to bing.com and click on the cashback FAQs. When you order an item on ebay thru certain sellers, Microsoft will give you cashback through your PayPal account. Takes some time to get the cash, but well worth it for an expensive item. Make sure you read the Terms of Service, but it seems hassle-free and others I have spoken to have used it with no problems at all.

Just got my Aimpoint T-1 from Tate Defense and it is authentic and new in box as described. I don’t think they have anymore in stock at this time but here’s one that should end at a good price. I’ve purchased from this seller too without any problems.
