These have been to the range one time and have sat in my closet otherwise. I duct taped some foam along the edges, and a few patches of black paint pulled off when I removed the tape. This has no effect on the function of the plates; I just want to be up front about it and priced them accordingly.
DocGKR tested the TAP Gamma+ and they stopped multiple hits of M193, M855, M80, 12ga slug, etc. (basically all common level III threats):
