im looking to replace the wire folder with a triangle folder like the kvar AK-BFS. It states it will drop in for stamped receiver rifles, but I just wanted to double check as Ive never replaced anything on the AK platform.

It will, but it will also add about 2" to the length of pull.
That’s a big no-go for me.
