Tango Down Cover on PA/HoloSun red dot

Has anyone modified a tango down cover for an AimPoint micro to work with an AimPoint Micro clone? Specifically primary arms or HoloSun? I have a HS503c red dot, it has a solar panel on the top and buttons on the right side. At the very least I would need to remove some material off the top of the tango down cover to give the solar panel exposure. What is the material used in the tango down like? Soft or hard? Easily cut and modified?

I used a tango down cover on a primary arms md-ads. The fit is just slightly off but I decided against modifying it. The two brightness butons on top of the red dot can still be manipulated with the cover on. As far as the tango down cover, the material is rather stiff but should be able to be cut with an exacto knife or utility knife. I would suggest cut less than you think you’ll need to remove at first then take more off a little at a time til you get it right.
