Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

Of course, his parents got Federal assistance for a time, as asylum-seekers, as well as benefits for each child while a minor. Probably why they’re back in Russia now, the freebies ran out after a decade+.

Nice people.

This is yet another prime example of why the current political ideology is full of fail & destined for entropy.

another reason for 30 round mags.

Of course he did. How else can we help to try to insure the end of America?

While I mean no disrespect toward those who are truly in dire need, the more I learn about federal welfare programs, the more I am left to wonder why we fund 90% of them at all. Wasn’t this supposed to be the work of local churches, civic groups, charities and community organizations?

It seems that we’ve created an entire underclass who are destined to remain there because life is just comfortable enough as to remove any incentive to seek a way up and out. At some point, simple logic would seem to dictate that something-for-nothing is a far better proposition than the daily grind of actually trying to hold a job.

DeToqueville, anyone?

On another forum, I posted an article about a liberal think tank that had a proposal to “equalize” income. The high point was there would be a guaranteed “income” of $80,000 a year. If your income was less than that, say $30,000 a year, then the US Government would write you a check for the difference. All this was with no qualifications or requirements. So it didn’t matter if you were employed, under-employed or unemployed, you would make at least $80k a year. Great plan. In all fairness, some Democrats questioned if it would “de-motivate” the workforce.

Fingers crossed we can only hope that Liberty will be the outcome…

"I have a passionate love for liberty, law, and respect for rights”

“I am neither of the revolutionary party nor of the conservative…Liberty is my foremost passion.”

Am not normally much for signature lines, but will be shamelessly absconding this one. Thanks for the reminder.

I. Love. Yoga. Pants.

THIS is why I said Jar Jar Binks oughta be waterboarded @ GITMO, because if Taxachusetts makes it a civil matter, the sumbeech will end up being the next Governor of THAT state.

ANNNNNNNNNNND… everything seems to be progressing that way…

Actually I think Harvard or Columbia might have a professorship position for this 19 year old, after he skates on the charges or gets let go on some technicality.

They already have plenty of leftist, America-hating ex-terrorists on staff…don’t they?

Dibs on the second one. Good stuff.

Wow, sound logic…

You know what Im with you, lets just get rid of that whole “Bill of rights” thing all together! Matter of fact, why don’t we adopt “guilty until proven innocent”…

So at the end of the day does this make as an official state sponsor of terror?

At the end of the day your not going to get the honesty your looking for.

True enough

We are funding our own demise with public funds.

What? your not happy knowing your tax money is going to fund room and board for home grown terrorism or is lining the pockets of Egypt, Syria, Afghanistan and who knows all else? Blasphemy…

I haven’t been happy with the way things have been handled for the past 7 years.
