And just what does the collected brain trust represented here suggest we do? The previous administration walked away from Afghanistan with the job half finished, started another war, and meanwhile passed out billions in foreign and military aid to our Pakistani ally while the Pakistan army provided support to the Taliban and al-Queda and A.Q. Khan, their top nuclear weapons scientist, provided weapons information to Libya, North Korea and Iran.
It’s President Obama’s mess now but I get a little tired of hearing all this bullshit that somehow the current situation is his doing. Does anyone have a memory longer than the last thirty second sound bite?
MD, I did not read anything that was blaming BHO for this, but this is now his problem to deal with and he doesn’t seem to have a clue. He really seems to believe that his “American Apology” tour was going to stop the jihadists.
By the way, I am so tired of liberals never taking the blame for anything. They wouldn’t accept that their mistakes lead the way for 9/11 and now they just blame the Bush administration for all current and future problems. No doubt the Bush Whitehouse made mistakes but the current administration keeps making mistakes one after the other and we have not even reached 100 days. Just keep drinking the Kool-Aid. If President Bush was so bad, how did America possibly avoid another terrorist attack during his 8 years in office? Do liberals really beleive it was blind luck?
And I am not even going to get into our current financial mess…oh yeah, that is entirely Bush’s fault as well I suppose. The only problem is that it took BHO less than 100 days to TRIPLE the debt that Bush took EIGHT years to accumulate. That BHO, he is a genius I tell you, a real genius.
While I believe the previous administration screwed the pooch on many things, I believe this one will be even worse. I don’t think anyone here has the know all end all answer to the problems we face, but we sure as hell know what we don’t want. And that is our current CIC doing the pandering he’s done to certain world leaders not to mention seemingly turning a blind eye to the fact that his actions so far do not inspire confidence in him as a leader or representative of the great people of this nation. I didn’t vote for him, but I’m stuck with him. Not only as an American, but as a Soldier also. I keep hoping he’ll conduct himself in a manner more befiting his position and as an American.
