So anyway…anyone else own one? these are bad a** jackets… I think they are used in the Magpul Dynamics viseo’s so I was dying to get one. Pic attached…the size was a bit small but love the toughness

TADgear (T.A.D. Gear) Explorer Softshell jacket, size Medium in their DF Grey color.

This is a jacket and NOT a hoodie. It’s made of TADGear’s Rhino Hide material and is extremely durable.

In terms of sizing, the jacket is fitted. I’m 5’7" 168lbs with an average build. The jacket isn’t too tight and doesn’t restrict movement, but it is NOT loose. I’m able to wear a T-shirt underneath it but not anything thick. Best fit for someone slim.

I like my Explorer jacket, not as much as my Stealth but it’s still good to go. I wish TAD would of made the pen pockets as big as the Stealth. I can’t fit my flashlight in my Explorer like I can my Stealth. :cool:

Depends which MD Vid, they rock Arc’teryx and TAD in those vids.

Where did ya get the explorer? That looks like an older model. The new ones don’t have the velcro swatches on the sleeves.

TAD does make some good stuff. :slight_smile:

I dig my TAD jacket, until recently; I no longer fit my large jacket very well after losing a chunk of lbs :frowning:

that’s not the current explorer model he’s shown; the specs are for the older jacket, which i think is similar to the stealth jacket. they’re really two completely different jackets.

That’s what I thought - just double checking my TAD history knowledge.
