Hi can someone recommend some tactical school’s in Tx. I am considering a school called TacPro but wanted to get some information on other schools in TX.
I’ve trained with Paul Howe of CSAT, www.combatshootingandtactics.com of Nacogdoches. He is excellent and I look forward to training with him again in the future.
I would also like to train with Jim Smith of Spartan Tactical, I believe he’s in the DFW area.
Some of the forum members here host courses by Pat Rogers and Larry Vickers.
What area of Texas?
Preferably in south Tx around San Antonio area.

There are a few LEO / Military only classes that are put on by TTPOA/NTOA in addition to the above locations.
Paul Howe, at CSAT, has a real good reputation.
There is also Rifles Only - but I don’t have any first hand feedback on them.

These guys were recommended to me by an SF type buddy…I will probably be doing a couple of classes with them after the first of the year…

Another vote for Paul Howe. If you don’t know who he is, think “Blackhawk Down”. He was one of the assault team’s leader.

I too would suggest Paul Howe.
Plenty of good choices listed. If you can get up towards/around the Dallas area, Steve Moses is another great choice.
Ashooter gets Pat Rogers and Larry Vickers to show up in the Brady area every year. I think that he might have slots left in the Rogers AK class and the Vickers pistol class - they are in March 08.
