the “personal attacks” that you are refering to are just responses to the “personal attacks” on me and my thread,
my felling is that if you dish it out you better be able to take it. don’t you agree??

KWACKERB279,
What was your MOS? Do you know what it feels like to walk around with all the weight of 511 rounds, water, PPE, SAPI plates, mission specific gear? Have you ever tried going over a wall, in a window, through a door with all that stuff your wearing? I agree that you can never have too much ammo but there has to be a trade off somewhere in the middle if not you will be useless to those around you. Nice gear but it does make you look like a poser.

Do you polish your knee pads?
On that same note, if you’re going to post a picture of yourself all dressed up for battle then you better be ready to get picked on.
Honestly, what sort of reaction did you expect? To most of us here the only difference between you and the picture of the dunkin donuts kid is your weight.
Oh, and I especially like how it’s “your thread”.
here’s what I think, based on this and “your” other threads. I think you came here looking to show off. I think you posted a bunch of pictures assuming that everyone would go ‘wow cool’ much like what probably happened on that other site. I think that what you failed to realize is that the vast majority of the members of this forum actually work and/or train pretty seriously with their gear, and can tell immediately that you obviously don’t.
Holy Bat Utility Belt!
If you die first, we’re splittin’ up your gear.
BTW Rob, this is funny as hell:
Nice use of text enhancement! I figure that at 511 rounds we are not downloading our mags and have a round chambered…
Sounds like kwack(ed) is a good name for the OP
Glamor shots with an AR and all dressed up to boot!
The tactical class photos of folks training (not just standing in front of the mirror) are pretty good if one wants to look at what other folks are using for gear.
Alright, so my math was off a bit.![]()
Someone’s been watching the unit religiously! I’d like to see him move a couple city blocks in all that gear, if he could do it without stroking out I’d respect him.
That loadout isn’t really all that bad, but it’s all subjective. Seriously, if you think that something like 16-17 mags is bad, you have another thing coming. I don’t think that anyone here is saying that it’s so heavy you’ll fall out if you move ten feet.
My “combat light” loadout for a LONG period was as follows:
I never saw a rifleman carry more than 350 rds, and that was in a military situation.
What I think most of the posters here are trying to convey is that you will almost NEVER need that much ammo ON YOUR PERSON as a civilian and that you are slowing yourself down dramatically by having that much on your loadout. I think that you’ll find most shooters on this forum are more concerned with practical gear that they might actually use as opposed to gearing up like a ninja turtle to fight the swarms of Arab invaders in their subdivisions.
In other words, most here would opt to carry a mag or two in a bug-out bag or simple chest rig with a pistol in a leather or kydex belt holster. They train like they would fight. I don’t know many civilians that would have the time to put on all that gear and then defend themselves, so most people here would find your setup impractical, thus why you got so much flak.
I’ve been there to see what the current “load” is. Like I said if HE could move with that load I’d be impressed. I’D WASH IT A FEW DOZEN TIMES TO GET IT LOOSENED UP IF I WERE YOU.
Maybe he’s going to a family reunion. When I go to mine, I carry at least that much ammo, but I also keep my truck nearby for when I have to replenish all of the spent magazines. ![]()
And why does everyone always pick on the fat airsoft kid? He’s not hurting anyone, doesn’t seem to be trying to pass himself off as a real soldier, and is probably just playing dress-up like almost every other kid in the world. Well, he obviously has a lot more money than most kids, but that’s a detail. Heck, he should be encouraged . . . if he’s actually playing airsoft battles, it’s probably some good exercise that he needs and might not otherwise be motivated to do. Leave poor fat airsoft kid alone!
Hah. This shows the power of internet. The phrase “fat airsoft kid” would have been meaningless to the world a few years ago, and now when you type it, almost everyone knows who/what you’re talking about it.
That kid has probably killed himself by now with that pic going around the net so much.
Son you couldnt even lift my ruck, let alone carry it. Come back and talk to me when you’ve actually had to wear that gear (load the mags, no empty mag pansy bullshit) and a 200 pound ruck for a 25k march.
I’m still trying to figure out how long it would take to put on all that stuff.
Can’t we all just get along…![]()
You might want to do a little research. Nyeti is a VERY respected member of this community and works for a VERY large law enforcement agency on the West Coast. Maybe next time you’re at the grocery store you can pick up a copy of Guns and Ammo Combat Tactics magazine and read one of the many articles that Nyeti has written.
Remember that you are the guy that came on an open forum and post pics of yourself “playing dress up”. And you can’t even decide if you want to “play Soilder” or “Tony Hawk Skateboard guy”.
On other boards (less professional boards) you would probably get a lot of “what kind of gear is that”, “nice set up”, comments.
Take into consideration where you are at. This board is filled with industry professionals, LEO’s, SWAT Officers, Active Duty Military, Private Security Contractors, civilians with very strong training backgrounds, and various other professionals.
It’s your comments and the pics you posted of yourself playing dress up that has caused the negative reactions. Big Boy Rules: You are the one that posted the info, so deal with the negative comments and flames you have coming.

Jeff- you know out of everyone else here, you dress up your rifles the most don’t you? Sometimes I wonder if you change the accessories depending on the day of the week.
Quit trolling. Some of us actually use our rifles. I use them in competiton and at work. My guns have evolved over time from experiences at both work and in competition.
As far as “dressing up my rifles”, I don’t change out parts on a regular basis. When I find something that works for me, I use it. I don’t change out parts on a regular basis. Too much of a hastle.

Also like your sig line. Grow up.

I’m not trolling. I looked at this thread when it was one post long. Thought I’d wait until now to comment.
Grow up? That’s just my way of saying I am not too fond of what you did without making it too obvious and really trolling somewhere. If you don’t like how it looks then you shouldn’t have done it.
Once again, someone who is “tough” behind a keyboard, but would run like the coward they are when asked to say the same thing to someone’s face.
