I cant seem to find hardly any feedback on the TA55 ACOGs at all. Has anyone here used them, or owned one? What did you think about them? I might pick up a 308 model.
We came into 3 of them over here from the last unit. We are running 2 of them on Mk48’s and the other one is on a M21.
No issues at all on either: The best part about them is the magnification compared to the 4x ones we have or in the case of the Mk’s, the Elcan 145’s.
The M21 i run for dismounted patrols in town, its handy with the ACOG on it instead of running a Leupold Mk4.
Great glass and reticle
I realize this is an older post, but I am once again revisiting the possibility of getting a TA55A. I currently run a NF 2.5-10x32 LV on my LMT MWS, and like it, but I am thinking I want more of a versatile combat style optic for a recon type rifle. I have never seen one in person, but I have read all I can find on them, and the 5.5x, clarity, light gathering abilities, BAC, BDC all appeal to me.
Anyone have any advice for me?
