No doubt you are correct. Mine is second hand knowledge on the topic. Universally, I heard negative experiences trying to get tested, and or get any real assistance with TRT. TRT/HRT is now much more common and accepted, I assume that trickles into the VA too. Obviously that’s taken a big step with recent developments. It’s interesting to note that outside the mil, it went from almost impossible to get TRT/HRT to almost too easy and men who may not even need it being given one size fits all protocols of 200mg of T (way too high for many), and other meds they don’t need, such as Anastrozole. In FL, there’s a TRT/HRT clinic on every corner, some given T without testing!
All the haters made a big fuss about the annual screening cost and time blah blah blah and I’m just waiting for it to be added as a question on the PHA and nothing more.
