What do you guys think of this combo. I saw in a post from 2 years ago that IrishDevil was about to get this combo but he did not report back on it. I have tried to contact him via privet message but he does not respond. I need feedbcak before I invest this much money. Thanks guys.
Well since you haven’t gotten any other replies I’ll just say the the combo of the HEMS II and my USP45 compact is one I’m happy with. I just need to get a set of better sights than the factory ones on it.
Slightly older pistol than the newer HK45C you’re wanting to do. If the HK45C had been in existence when I did my set up I’d have gone that route.
I see we live close together…I live in Land O lakes and in fact I just visited my uncle yesterday at his house in Wesley Chapel. 
I own a HK USP tactical 45 and a HEMS2 combo that I frequently shoot at his house and Hernando sportsmanship club.
While the HEMS2 was the best when I bought it a year ago, there are better cans out there right now. I’d recommend you go for a AAC TiRant or a Silencerco Osprey as they will offer better suppression. Dont get me wrong, the HEMS2 is a great wet can, but its dB numbers wet are that of the previously mentioned while shot dry. So when you add 5cc water to the rant/osprey well…now youre talkin.
Your more than welcome to come shoot with me next time i go to get an idea of the dB levels. Also keep in mind that these cans will dwarf any compact model host. Ive seen others on silencertalk.com with the HK45c and they love it. In fact AAC setup one of the 1st HK45c’s with a threaded barrel for testing with the Tirant and they highly recommend the combo.

I couldn’t agree with this statement more. In fact it exactly mirrors my situation. When I bought my HEMS II it was top dog, a year later it’s outdone by two other cans.
For years I ran 9mm’s instead of .45’s just because of the convenience of using 9’s dry. With the coming of newer technology the playing field is leveled for me, in fact, now the advantage rolls to the .45’s just due to the ease of subsonic ammunition as opposed to having to load 147 gr. subsonics special for use in my Evo9 and Trident9.

I’m afraid I got a little too impatient and bought the HEMS 2. I did not think anyone would reply. I’m sure I will be happy with it. I also got the SWR Trident and the SWR Specter. Of course it will be 4 months before I get to play with them. Thanks for all your impute guys.

Yeah, my uncles house. he live in quail hollow in wesley chapel on 2 acres. We can shoot there. Ive never shot a M11 with lage upper, that would be sweet. Gotta keep the rounds subsonic though as to not annoy the neighbors. Lets plan on doing this soon, ill get with him and let ya know.
