Swedish officer shoots arson suspect in leg

Like the Italian LEO I posted, starting to wonder if Euro LE gets any training with firearms. That could have gone really badly:

I can only quote the Muppets… “Vert de Ferk?”

I’d be really curious to know what their SOP/ROE is for such a situation and if they followed it. Like the Italian LEO, a warning shot skipped off the sidewalk and then one to the leg? Or was that him taking the shot? It seems like she does at least finally get a two handed grip on her pistol.

The comments are pure gold talking about how much better they handled the situation than US cops. :joy:. Just goes to show how looney a lot of Europeans and Americans both are.

With the amount of blood on the sidewalk if a tourniquet isn’t applied in short order he is dead anyways,so screw it,one to the chest and one to the head and save the paperwork and medical bills!

You know, as far as I’m concerned there is no “Good Place to get Shot”.
Anywhere you shoot there are blood vessals and arteries, there’s bone and muscle and you throwing 150-240 grain slugs in to all of that means a lot of damage and some of it isn’t going to recover.

Having said all of that, that guy appeared to want to get shot in the leg, I mean he did everything but paint her a bullseye on his leg.
This is meaningless as it is one incident that seems rather rare and insignificant.

Any incidents of Swedish or Italian cops lighting up a citizen over nothing?

I do believe it happened enough that Spain had to completly reform their entire way their National Police work and are formed around the mid eighties.
Now be aware, things in Spain were quite different then with Basques and Muslims both behaiving badly and all engaged in crimminal activiy.

Both the Swedish and Italian cop seemed to do much better than American cops in NYC.

Idk how much training they get over there but in the usa its a joke. The cops I know say they get 100 rounds a year for practice.

I travel in Europe plenty and feel much more comfortable around those cops. In the USA you never know if your dog or kid is going to get shot. Or some other powertrip shitbaggery.
