It finally arrived today!! Won’t have a range report for a bit due to work and other commitments.
I was concerned the dot wouldn’t be bright enough but it’s as bright as my Aimpoints. Glass is crazy clear. Throw is on the way.

is the eye relief such that you need to mount the scope that far forward?

Damn, thats a sweet looking scope. Do you have a weight for it with the mount by chance?
Also, something completely irrelevant, when you did the multi-cam dip, did you had to completely stripe everything?

Thanks for the compliments on the camo. I had the pieces dipped before building the rifle. I took a couple years to buy the parts and spread the cost. There is a thread in the custom section with more details.
Belmont, I hear you. I was originally planning to get the 1-8 short dot but they kept pushing its release.
Ra2bach, I shoot with my nose on the charging handle and where you see it is where I get the optimum view.
Zzzake, the weight without the mount is 467g. Used a digital scale at work and didn’t have the mount with me. It’s an ADM if you want to look it up. Next time I have the rifle at work I’ll try to remember to weigh them together.

We used to have one of those along with a few other Swarovskis at the shop, hands down the clearest class I have ever peered through even getting to play with Zeiss and Leupold on a daily basis.

Weight of the optic with ADM mount is 694g.
It works well from the bright Texas sun at noon (larue match in 2009) to pitch black having to shoot a black bear up a tree. (done that too).
