I am considering this scope for my AR build. I am able to acquire it for $1,700.00. Do you guys see any downside in this scope?
I have one and its great glass. Only real down side is it has no bullet drop conpensator and it has no real method for holding over for longer range shooting.

That said, it is the lightest optic in its class. Beautiful light gathering properties and you dont need the illumination unless your in very poor lighting. And the glass. Nothing further needs to be said about that last part.
While you can shoot without the illumination you do need it for fast shooting. I have found that lit reticles are far faster to use than non lit ones.

This seems to be the only “modern” take on the scout scope that I’ve found. While I’m intrigued by this optic, I don’t see myself having $1,700 available to spend on a scope anytime soon.
Is there anything else that offers similar features (30mm tube, long eye relief, illuminated reticle) that’s half the price?

If you can live with 4x, the 1-4x Super Sniper is a tough scope for beat for the money ($800)

Ah yes, I now I see. There are two versions of this scope. It doesn’t look like they offer the BRT reticle in the EE series either. Sorry.

I know I sold my circle dot reticle version and upgraded to the BRT version.

Now I’m confused. Are you saying the BRT reticle is available in their extended eye-relief scope?
I don’t have the EE version. But I am sure they make it with the BRT. Call Swarovski up.

I have emailed Dustin Woods about the BRT in the EE format. He says, unfortunately, that this reticle is not available in the extended eye relief scope at this time.
Why do you want the EE are you putting it on a big game gun with lots of recoil?
