How do these compare to say a PEQ2/PEQ15s laser illuminator in range?
Look pretty snazzy, having the IR and Vis in one package is neat.
It won’t beat a PEQ-15 in pure brightness, but at the same time you can actually buy the surefires. That said I found from the ones I’ve tried that you gain an IR illuminator but the visible light was a tad on the weak side. Especially for the cost.
You sure? Specs say 75mw output for surefire and only 30mw for PEQ15.
I know my DBAL which has same specs as PEQ15 didnt throw out light that far.
Anyway, I am on nightshift at work this time, and have a PAQ4 but no illuminator. I ordered a vampire so that should get out here in a week or 2 for me to play with.
the PEQ 15 according to Insight runs at 30 mW on high.
The SureFire M600V and M620V run 120 mW.
