I want to use Surefire X300 Light (on top and forward of FS) on my AR 15. Is factory mount strong enough or
should I attach light with Larue mount?

Factory mount is fine. Just make sure you swap out the universal (U) latch that comes installed with for the Picatinny (P) one.

The Larue mount will make your SF300 too high to use irons or any optics at normal height.
