Where do they sell a pressure swicth for the sufefire G2 led?
I had a couple of guys that wanted tape switches for G2’s on their patrol rifles a while back. I looked into it for them and as far as I know Surefire does not make one. About the best you can do is a Pelican tape switch which fits the G2. You can also find them from TacStar and there are numerous Chinese tape switches. I don’t think I’d put them on a work gun though.
Get the Pelican dude. We sold a shit ton of them back in the day and they hold up well and are a bargain.

A older Sure Fire Classic light tape switch will not fit a G2? Hmmm, I will have to check that, never thought about it but as much Sure Fire stuff as I have I should have tried that by now.
Unless the G2L is different in some way the older Classic light switches should work, I just tried one on a standard G2 and it worked fine.

I purchased the Pelican M6 pressure switch that is supposed to be compatible with the G2. I’ll give my impressions when I receive it.
i’m going to go ahead and bump this thing and see what people are saying about different g2 led switch options…
i’m especially interested to see if the surefire xm series of tailcap switches actually work with the g2 led out of the box.
XM (tape and button) will work. UM (tape only) might work. Some of the UM’s I have won’t screw all the way down on some G2’s. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why.
