I’ve recently decided to lower the weight of my carbine. One of the ways that I am going to do it is to switch from the M951 that I have on it, to a Surefire 6PL in an offset mount. I’ve done the math and I should save a couple of ounces.
The only problem is finding tail cap switches, I can use the XM switch off the back of my M951, but that seems heavy, does Surefire or anyone else make a 6P version of the scout tail cap, the one that allows you to plug in the Surefire tape switch in directly?
Sure do. Just bought one for my 6P from Calvin at Brightflashlights (www.brightflashlights.com). Look on the website for the number, call Calvin and tell him what you want. Comes with the tailcap with momentary and click on/off button and a plug-in tapeswitch. I also picked up a Malkoff LED 230 lumen drop-in for the 6P. Turned it into a flame-thrower!!!
