I have a brand new Surefire scout light as well as a used E2D LED with a Vltor side mount. The scout light package was opened and the light was mounted to my rifle but just sat there. It saw no range time.
The E2D LED did see range time and has some wear as you can see in the pics. The light works perfectly and has no issues. Sorry for the iphone pics.
