SureFire MB556K Opinions?

Anybody have any experience with these? I’m looking to get rid of my birdcage flash hider in exchange for something a little more custom. I’ve watched the video on SF’s website, and it looks like this thing works pretty well. Anybody have any input?

EDIT: My budget will be $150 for the flash suppressor.

i have one on an N4 and it is a great break, I also have a brand new one in the box for sale herehttps://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=15542

Thanks Warrior, PM sent.

Any other opinions? I like to have as much info on stuff like this as I can.

I’d posted in another thread concerning this muzzle break. If a brake is what you want then this a good one. However, the blast is ever present in this design and the flash is blinding even in daylight conditions.

They work as advertised they keep the muzzle down but; it magnifies the flash and increases the noise that is heard by the shooter and those around him. I have one but I am sticking with a a standard A2 unit, the vortex, and the surefire flash suppressor or comps. I think flash suppression is more important that any perceived increase in controllability. My two rupees worth.

I’m running one on my game gun. It’s the best brake that I’ve used that complies with the 1"X3" size restrictions for limited/tactical class rifles.

I would not use it on a rifle for real world use. Like all of the other brakes available, the SOB is loud.

have you considered the FSC556?? I think thats what its called, i believe there are a few members of this forum that run that as well that can give you a first hand review
