Does anyone know if any manufacturers are producing a mount that will hold a C2 Centurion?
I think this would make a nice Po-Boy special. I’m trying to get somewhere between a G2 and a Millenium for a nice scout light.

IIRC the C2 has the same body as the M2 without the millennium head. If so I run my M2 in a SF M79 mount. I have also used a 1" scope ring. It has the same head as my scout light with the incandescent head adapter and weighs almost the same(a hair more) with the mount as the scout light.
I am unaware of anyone making a dedicated mount for that light body.
Why a C2 instead of a G2? Or a G2 with a add on millennium head?
I’ve currently got a G2LED that’s going with me to work as a handheld; my other G2LED is mounted to my scatter-blaster, so my AR is now sans lighting.
I’m trying to figure out what setup I’m gunning for. I’m considering, as well, an E-series with a VLTOR mount, but I’m not 100% sure I’m taking that path either.
Since I’m pulling the G2 off the AR, I figured it’s replacement light source would have an aluminum body. It’s nothing in particular, other than a wild-hair I’ve got up the poop-chute for something different (aluminum).
The E-series might be the way to go for weight-savings, LED capability, and readily available mounts (vltor/vtac).
If you don’t already have the C2, I think I’d shy away from it because of it’s unique body contours. Seems better suited for handhled use than weapon mounted.
I personally like the already mentioned G2’s for weapon mounting due to a readily available supply of mounts and lamps, low cost, etc. If you desire an aluminum body, I think I’d either go with the E-series you mentioned or a standard 6P. While the E-series may be a little lighter, there seem to be fewer mounts available, and I don’t like the pocket clip for weapon mounting.
Again I would recommend a G2 or 6P (incandescent, L model, or with drop-in high-output LED lamp) and either a VTAC, or VLTOR standard or offset Scout Mount.
If you already have the C2 try it in one of the already mentioned mounts, but if not it seems like it may be an unnecessary hassle.

I agree with RD62 accept Ive not had any problems with my M2. Its contours at the widest points of the middle of the body are about 1" so all of the split ring mounts that fit my 6p and classic series also fit my M2 with the pocket clip removed. The mount that I have that didn’t fit is the VTAC because I didn’t want to remove the rubber ring on the body of the light to slip it in the mount. That said It is still not near ideal and if I didn’t already have the light I would have probably gone another route.
