Can someone give the steps it takes to purchase a Suppresor. I have the trust done. But I was inquiring what I need to do next.
find a dealer that sells them Pay for it get the dealer to help fill out the forms for the ATF .he holds it until you get approved once you have the Stamp go pick up your Suppressor
1)Find a Class 3 dealer near you.
2)Order online (Silencershop.com and silencedamerica.com are good sources)
OR
have the dealer get you one or buy one that he has in the shop.
3) If buying online or having the dealer get you one, you have to wait for the Form 3 paperwork to transfer the suppressor from the distributor to the dealer (2-8 weeks).
4) Fill out Form 4 paperwork with the dealers help and send it in with $200
5) wait about 6 months
6)pick up suppressor
You should also take the time to see if any SOT near you also has their own range (or vice versa). That way, you can enjoy your suppressor at their range while waiting on your stamp.
