I am considering purchasing a suppressor for my LMT AR-15 M4 and was not really sure which brands would be worth the looking at. I’ve never owned one, but have learned a few things about them. One thing I have been told is the cheaper suppressors do quite a poor job of suppressing noise. Well, I would only feel like the expense of the suppressor would be worth it, if it made a significant reduction in noise in my 5.56 round. Some people were telling me some of the high quality suppressors on market can even do a good job at suppressing even .308 rounds. When I lived in Idaho many people were raving about the local Gemtech company. Any people have any opinions about Gemtechs? I am interested to hear other suggestions and experiences people had with various suppressor brands.
If people can include the price range of the suppressor they suggest, that would also be helpful.
