suppressor Purchase

I had a question regarding the purchase of a suppressor, I am looking at getting a surefire suppressor for my colt m4. My local class 3 dealer said I have to pay for the suppressor in full plus the tax stamp, now the dealer told me if a ban goes through that he can refund the suppressor but he did not know what would happen with the tax stamp. Does anyone know what would happen? Would my tax stamp be refunded if it was not fully processed?

There’s no suppressor bans coming down the trail… and the Feds would refund any rejected applications if such a far out scenario were to unfold.

Wow markm you are every where lol I did not think there was anything in the works but my local class three seems to think all of the NFA items are going to be banned.

The libs like registrations… no immediate thread to NFA items… dealers are lunatics and flakes for the most part.

Now the one scary thing the Hussein is doing is appointing a new thug to head up ATF. Who knows what stunts this joker might pull…

After Hussein’s boy Holder did the cartel gun thing, we can see there is no tactic too low for this corrupt chicago maniac.

I’d guess that NFA items are down the list. They want to go after low hanging fruit first. We’ll likely be in a revolution before NFA confiscations and bans could happen.

That’s the risk you take…

Buy the suppressor without reservation, you have an ethical dealer.

It is a federal tax on the transfer. If a transfer isnt completed, your $200 will be refunded. It may take a few months.

RFA

well I am about to burn a whole in my wallet cant wait to get this bad boy… six or more months from now

No matter what, they will always be worth the wait.

My dealer got my serial number yesterday (M42K) so I’ll be submitting 1st of next week

That’s the way to go! My papers were back to my dealer before they had the can… This was back when it only took 2-3 months to get it done.

wish i could find a sbr upper submit them together

I think you mean Lower :stuck_out_tongue:
Find a stripped lower, get it engraved at a registered builder, form 3 it to your local shop, then submit the papers along with your M4, easy peasy!

No I meant a short barreled rifle upper I want a 10.5 upper for my colt

Uppers don’t require registration for SBR, only the lower. You can have as many uppers of any length you want, it’s the lower they care about.

so i can use my current lower to register as an Sbr then purchase the upper and mate them

Correct! Waiting on my registered lower right now, registered at 7.5" but I have a 10.5" for it as well.

Why not read some of the NFA threads where all of this has been discussed NUMEROUS times?

I don’t think I’m gonna get that lucky…

Rodger that use search or stickies;)
