suppressor for 6.5 with 9/16-24 threads ??

I’m thinking about getting a suppressor for my 6.5 Grendel. The barrel is threaded 9/16-24. I’ve found two manufactures that make suppressor mounts with 9/16-24 threads. YHM and Ops Inc. Are there any other that I should consider?

If I could mount a surefire FA68K I think I’d go that route. Would it be possible to use a mount for a FA556K and have it rethreaded and reamed for 6.5?

AAC makes some QD adaptors with that thread pattern too. Any of the .308 cans with QD adaptors should have that threading because it is fairly common on European rifles that aren’t metric.

If you want versatility, an AAC 7.62SD would work on a 10.5 Factory 6.5G upper. You could also go with one of their 6.8 cans too.

SP,
Thanks for the info.
I’ll add ACC to my list. I wonder about availability. I guess I should call.
Mike

Push comes to shove, you could always have the barrel re-cut, re-crowned and re-threaded to 5/8x24 and get all the benefits of more common .308 barrel accessories.

I’ve considered that option and if I only had one rifle to change I’d go that route.

Oh, you only mentioned one therefore it seemed like the more time friendly solution then hunting down accessories in 9/16x24.

Call Bookhound at Polite Society or Freddy at AAC. Either should be able to hook you up with a great suppressor and all the mounts you need.
