Heard a lot of talk about it not being advisable and that it wouldn’t function. Well I decided to set the record straight.
After 8 long years of the rifle sitting in my safe, basically useless due to numerous malfunctions, toiling with it from time to time I decided it was time for makeover. It’s a newly renovated POS Century Arms CETME Sporter. I replaced the trigger pack and trigger housing with a polymer housing and HK MSG90 trigger pack. Replaced the charging handle and support along with truing the receiver and cocking tube. Replaced the factory stock with a Magpul PRS2 with an HK G3 Heavy Buffer, also replaced the factory plastic hand guard with a aluminum tri-rail. I had to cut the semi-auto shelf off, and re-weld it about 2cm higher due to it causing the trigger pack to sit too low, causing failures to feed/eject. Lastly, I removed the stock muzzle device and using a CNC warrior tat and die, I trued the treads concentric to the bore in 9/16-24 and added an AAC 51th Blackout flash hider for use with my 762-SDN-6.
Once she was all put together I used a Geissele Suppressor Alignment Rod and ensured suppressor/bore alignment and then the time had finally come…
