But people are so quick to forget that McCain played around on his wife (while she was injured after a car accident) with his current wife Cindy.
Typical right.
I’m planning on throwing away my vote on a third party or an independent.
Look, I have known McCain for 27 years. Don’t like the SOB, never have. He Has never liked me either. We used to be on first name basis. Cindy too. Let’s just say, that at one time, I wouldn’t cross the street in front of his car. A lot of history.
McCains first wife was crippled in the accident when he was staying at the Hanoi Hiliton. He and his wife had already separated when he met Cindy. No they were not divorced yet.
I AM going to vote for the SOB. I will not help nOama get elected because of McCain. I am glad he chose Palin. This is going to be VERY PAINFUL for me.
I remember in 1993, all those Pirot kool aid drinkers driving around with their bumper stickers.
“Don’t blame me, I voted for Perot”
These folks in two separate elections were the ONLY reason Klinton won. Klinton NEVER received a majority of votes.
The place to fight these folks is at the Primary level. But most folks have more important stuff to do with their lives. Serious politics requires more than being just knowledgeable, it takes action beyond just voting too.
Pass on a few beers and the game on some Saturdays, and go do some local campaign work for the candidate of your choice. In the next cycle.
DURING THE PRIMARY! You will not always win in a democratic republic, but if you don’t participate, actively, you will always loose.
And if you don’t vote at all, then of course you simply don’t count.
Go figure.
