I am glad people are rallying behind her. 
This issue doesn’t concern me all that much but I wonder how voters, especially the ones that get their politics in 2-3 segments, will take this latest development?
Sure the evanglist are rallying behind her but how will this play out when it comes to the voting booth?
It could become a strength as it shows that no one is perfect. It is how we react to our problems that defines us. The talking heads will try to show it as hypocrisy but the average American will look at how they handle it, knowing everyone makes mistakes.

I think the evangelicals would be singing a different tune if this was the other side of the ticket. I’m just playing devil’s advocate. I didn’t like this pick for McCain, don’t see how this helps. It may not be overly damaging as well.
If it was the other side of the ticket, the baby would be dead.
It wouldn’t be on the other side of the ticket – Obama doesn’t want to punish his daughters with a baby – it would have been quietly taken care of at the local hospital clinic.

I don’t even know why this should matter one way or the other. I could care less if Palin, McCain, Obama, Biden, Clinton, or [insert name of politician here]'s 17-year old daughter got pregnant by her 18-year old fiance/boyfriend/husband as long as it has nothing to do with the candidate.
Now if this was a product of an incestuous affair (God forbid a million times!!), then it would be news. Isn’t it amazing just how much more coverage this seems to be getting from the Dems in comparison to John Edward’s affair?

I caught a few minutes of Hannity in the car today. He had Kristin Powers on and she was not happy with the MSM’s treatment of Palin. I am sure that most female democrats will vote for Obama, but enough of them are going to be pretty pissed about this and that might make a difference.
The biggest effing scumbag, in my opinion, is Keith Olbermann. That douche bag never once mentioned Edwards and his affair (while his wife was battling cancer no less) but he’s perfectly happy discussing a 17 year old girl and her pregnancy.

But people are so quick to forget that McCain played around on his wife (while she was injured after a car accident) with his current wife Cindy.
